We woke up to a cool 51° in Minnesota this morning and my husband hopped on his motorcycle at 6:30am to get to church where he runs the lighting for our Sunday services. I joined him for the second service and we both got home around 1:30pm. I stopped at the local vegetable farms' roadside stand and bought two massive heads of cauliflower (one PURPLE) to cook for dinner alongside some other leftovers. We had a quick lunch and put our gear on and got on the motorcycle to enjoy mid-60's and loads of sunshine, stopping by a barn sale of lovely antiques, and taking the twisting, rise and fall roads of the St Croix River Valley wherever they'd lead us. After stopping for a beverage, we got home around 4:30. Dinner was over by 5:15, I changed in to cozy clothes and snuggled in to a heating pad, with my cat at my feet. It was a perfect first day of Fall here.

Mother Nature was on her game this weekend. Sunny and warm here in southern England on Saturday, moody and rainy on Sunday. Giving me perfect excuse to organise my wardrobe ready for chillier weather! 🍁🍂
