The Sunday S.P.A.R.K.L.E.S. #18
Seasonal moments, things I’ve been loving, what I’m sipping on, and exciting news
I wish I was, but I’ve never really been a morning person…so I wasn’t exactly thrilled (for more reasons that one) that I was awoken almost 2 hours before I usually wake up to the sound of a living creature scratching around in the wall near the head of my bed. Guess the cats are slacking on their jobs outside, but the poor little guy is just trying to find a warm place to stay in the cold. I just wish it was a different warm place.
Looking on the bright side, with those extra 2 hours I had time for slowing down to journal, read, and drink my tea. And I think that’s a pretty good way to start my Sunday :)
Today on The Sunday S.P.A.R.K.L.E.S.

the sound of crunching leaves under my feet on a hiking trail
the refreshing cool and crisp feeling in the air while bundled up in warm sweaters and scarves
the comforting scent of earthiness in the air
the nostalgic taste of warm baked apple pie with ice cream

ASK away
I did an ask me anything a couple months back, but I decided I wanted to make it a seasonal thing so click on the button below to ask your question.
Anything health, wellness, fitness, nature, travel, book, food, seasonal related and basically anything else ⬇️
have you READ this book?
I recently finished reading One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I loved it, but it was also heartbreaking and I cried for like the last 50 pages 😭
If you have read, I need to know your thoughts.
KEEPING it cozy and casual
An actual representation of me (minus the wine)
As someone that is always cold, if I could live in sweatpants and sweatshirts, wrapped in a blanket, laying by my heater all day everyday in the fall & winter I would. I have a pair of sweatpants from Walmart that are my current favorites. I don’t know if these are the exact pair, but they look similar and just as comfy.
things I’ve been LOVING lately
drinking warm teas in my favorite bird mug
these Halloween nails that I’ve had on for 10 days and are still going strong
these dairy free, gluten free, nut free donuts. Glazed is my favorite 😋
these chicken & maple breakfast sausage links

All things fall, love!! I haven’t read that book but I love Taylor Jenkins Reid so I’m going to go to the library this week and see if they have it. I’ll report back!
I very much enjoy your writing and art. My wife has been coaxing me to get back to substack-land. I started when a lifelong friend of mine passed away and I stopped for whatever reason. I love taking photographs. We are originally from the Philadelphia suburbs but we reside in northern maine now. Talk about COLD!!!!! You and some other artists, writers and photographers are giving me some encouragement in getting back to the stack world. Have a good rest of your night and week ahead as well.👍🏻👋🏻🥱😴
