You know those times that you’re left alone with your thoughts and your mind starts to wander? Before you know it, you are replaying that embarrassing moment from the third grade in your head for hundredth time?? And it just keeps spiraling and now you are questioning all of existence??? Yeah I just had one of those moments.
When left alone with your thoughts, your first instinct might be to find any sort of distraction, but next time it does happen, instead of trying to quiet your mind, take it as an opportunity to learn a little more about your self.
This list of 17 questions are perfect to do so with. And believe me, these questions will make you think!!
The questions
Rank these in order of importance: Happiness, health, love, money
Would you want to go back and relive any part of your life again from then until now? Would you do anything differently?
What kind of job gives you joy when you think about it? Is it the job you currently have?
Are your goals your own or what others expect from you?
What’s a “what if” that you think about all the time?
What does home mean to you?
Think of your perfect day. How does it compare to an average day in your life?
If you restarted your life from scratch, would you end up in the same place?
What’s something you wish you could forget?
What would you try if you knew you wouldn’t fail?
If you had to spend a year alone with one other person, who would you want that person to be?
Would you rather erase your worst memory, or relive your best one?
If someone gave you a box of everything you have ever lost, what would be the first thing you would look for?
If you walked into a room with everyone you have ever met, who would you look for first?
What is something you have always wanted to try, but are to afraid to?
If you could live one day over and over again which would it be?
Do you “work to live” or live to work”?
